Ground-breaking farm implements for sustainable profits
Ground-breaking farm implements for sustainable profits
Designed with a parabolic front-swept shape for light tillage
Knife shanks are heat treated 5160 chromium manganese spring steel for toughness, durability and long wear life. They are welded on robotic welders to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Equipped with a durable 1 ¾” wide chrome carbide tip and shin to extend the wear life while allowing it to pull easy.
Unique chrome carbide foot piece creates a pocket under the soil to self-seal. This pocket gives the anhydrous a place to sit to allow it to go through its phase change to become available to the plants.
All chrome carbide wear surfaces and tube protectors are 26% chrome carbide with special alloys to extend the wear life.
½” knife and chrome carbide shin and rear section protect the tubes from wear.
DF-1PM/3/4DA
Same as DF-1PM but includes the rear 3/4” vapor tube to dispose of vapor. We recommend 2 vapor tubes for up to 17 row bar. For bars larger than 17 rows we recommend 4 vapor tubes.

K-2T
This conventional knife is a workhorse for standard ammonia application. It is ½” wide and features a narrow ¾” chrome carbide tip and foot to extend the life while still pulling easy.
Knife and chrome carbide tip are more upright to slice the soil while reducing lift.
½” knife and chrome carbide shin and rear section protect the tubes from wear.
All chrome carbide wear surfaces and tube protectors are 26% chrome carbide with special alloys to extend the wear life.
K-2T/3/4/DA
Same as K-2T but includes the ¾”rear vapor tube to dispose of vapor. We recommend 2 vapor tubes for up to 17 row bar. For bars larger than 17 rows we recommend 4 vapor tubes.

K-4TSDF
Anhydrous Ammonia (Minimal Disturbance)
Parabolic front-swept shape with a 1-1/4” wide foot for underground soil mixing without heavy surface disturbance.
Knife shank is heat-treated 5160 chromium-manganese steel and is 3/8” thick with a rounded edge for minimum soil movement at the surface. Point and tube protector are 26% chrome carbide for long wear life.
Available with crimped and drilled 3/8” tube for NH3 (K-4TSDF) or with open-end 3/8” tube for liquid (K-4TSDF/O).
Knife with added ¾” vapor tube is K-4TSDF/3/4DA.
Dry Fertilizer
DF-1PM/112
DF-1PM/112
Parabolic front-swept shape with a 1-3/4” wide foot for light underground tillage and mixing dry fertilizer
Knife shank is heat-treated 5160
chromium-manganese steel and is 1/2” thick.
Point is 26% chrome carbide for long wear life.
1-1/2” dry tube is wear-protected with AR400 side plates, and a spreader plate is at the soil end to assist in distributing fertilizer evenly without blowing out at the surface.
Knife is designed to also accept extra liquid or ammonia tubes added in the field.
Anhydrous Ammonia & Dry Fertilizer
DF-1PM/112DA/3/4
K-2T/112DA
DF-1PM/112DA/3/4
This parabolic shaped knife is designed specifically for dual dry fertilizer and NH3
placement. The front-swept curvature is for light tillage. The fertilizer tube opens towards a plate to spread the outcoming fertilizer evenly in the furrow.
Unique chrome carbide foot piece creates a pocket under the soil. This pocket gives the anhydrous a place to sit to allow it to go through its two-week phase change to become available to the plants.
All chrome carbide wear surfaces and tube protectors are 26% chrome carbide with special alloys to extend the wear life.
½” knife and chrome carbide shin and rear section protect the tubes from wear.
K-2T/112DA
This conventional knife was designed to apply dry fertilizer and NH3 in conventional ground. The dry fertilizer is protected behind a chrome carbide shield. It blows the fertilizer against a plate to spread it evenly across the furrow.
This knife is ½” wide and features a narrow ¾” chrome carbide tip and foot to extend the life while still pulling easy.
Knife and chrome carbide tip are more upright to slice the soil while reducing lift.
All chrome carbide wear surfaces and tube protectors are 26% chrome carbide with special alloys to extend the wear life.
We recommend 2 vapor tubes for 17 row bars and less and 4 vapor tubes for 18 rows and larger. The part number for this knife with vapor tube is K-2T/112DA/3/4.
